Micromax Bolt A28 and Bolt A59 dual-SIM Android smartphones launched

Micromax has launched two new Bolt series smartphones, the Bolt A28 and Bolt A59. Both the 

smartphones are now listed on company's online store at Rs. 3,599 and Rs. 4,499 respectively. The  

Micromax online store's listing notes that both the smartphones can be delivered in 7 to 10 business days.


The Micromax Bolt A28 run dated Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and is a dual-SIM device with support for 

GSM+GSM. It features a 3.5-inch display with 320x480 pixels resolution. The Bolt A28 is powered by a 

1GHz Spreadtrum SC6820 processor along with a 256MB of RAM. It sports a 0.3-megapixel

 rear camera, while there is no word on front camera.

New OS soon for smartphone

The Indian market might see a new operating system for smartphones soon,

 as Japanese telecom major NTT DoCoMo and Samsung Electronics are jointly developing one that will 

likely be released in Japan and other Southeast Asian countries sometime this year.In India, DoCoMo has a 

presence in the form of Tata DoCoMo, a joint venture which is a cellular service provider on both the GSM 

and CDMA platforms.

BSNL online recharge

General customers of BSNL as well as the Corporate Customers can access the PostPaid payment service by following three simple steps, namely, Register, Add a Phone Account and View & Pay Bills Online:
  • Register Login
    Here you will have to provide some personal information such as your name, contact address and email. The information furnished will be kept confidential.
  • Add Phone Account
    After you successfully register, you can add the phone account, for which you want to view and pay the outstanding bills online. First, you need to select a circle. For example, if your phone falls in the 'AP' circle, you need to select 'Andhra Pradesh' from the DropDownBox. Then you can add an account by giving your Account Number and the Phone Number. Thus, you can add multiple phone accounts to your login. Also, you will have an option of deleting them if the need arises. View Account Number in BSNL Bill.
  • View & Pay Bills online
    The outstanding bills for the phone account(s) added, are made available to view and pay online. On successful completion of payment of a bill in the Internet Banking System (or) through Credit Card,  the user is re-directed to Portal to view the 'Digital Receipt' for Bill paid.

New subscribers can avail Blackberry services by filling Application form for mobile connection requesting for Blackberry services also with mobile connection.

Latest apple iPhones

Apple has just released an update for iOS for iPad Mini and iPhone 5 devices. With this upgrade, it has brought iOS version of those devices to 6.0.2. Release notes about the update for iPhone have mentioned that it has fixed Wi-Fi bug. In the recent times, there were many complaints regarding malfunctioning of Wi-Fi connectivity options on iPhone 5. So users can now get rid of that problem using this update.
Previous version iOS 6.0.1 has been released on 1st November 2012 and the fourth beta of iOS 6.1 has been released in the third week of December 2012. Many users have reported problems in updating to the latest version of operating system. OTA or Over The Air update is giving errors to too many users. Alternatively they can also try updating through iTunes which is having more success rates even though the user has to do many attempts.
